Disclaimer: I do not own The Sims or the Pokemon Creepypasta this was based on. Oh, and I don't own Pokemon either.

Never download a suspicious-looking file.

This isn't about a computer virus come-to-life or anything.
It all started when I got The Sims 3 in the mail. I was excited at first, but I didn't want to part with The Sims 2. I decided to install my new game without getting rid of anything.

Later in the week, after I had set it up and created a household, I searched the Internet for mods to improve the gameplay (in my opinion). I got an email from a friend - or that's who I assumed it was, because it was his email address.
The subject read, "jealousy .package" and the body read:

"This mod is incredible! I found out it can be used on every Sims game ever made. I know you have both TS2 and TS3 and are looking for mods, so I thought you'd be interested."

A mod compatible with all the games? I thought it was too good to be true. But just in case, I tried it out.

I extracted the file - which was also called "jealousy .package" - into the appropriate folders (for both games) and started up Sims 2.

As soon as I inserted the disc, a message came up.

"Would you like to merge the The Sims 2 with The Sims 3?"

That's crazy. I thought, Is that even possible? Either way, I thought it would be awesome to merge the games, so I clicked "Yes".

Big mistake.

I clicked on Sunset Valley (which completely replaced Pleasantview), I was met with the soundtrack from TS3, but greatly distorted.
The music started getting high-pitched when I chose my Sims 3 household, the Barrientos family. It turned into a screech when a townie entered the lot. I realized that she was, Ruki Haynes from the household I created in Sims 2.

I thought my speakers or ears would explode from the screeching. On the screen, Ruki was holding a knife. She stabbed every last one of the Barrientos until the puddle of blood forming under them turned into a lake. The noise ended along with Ruki's killing spree.

The camera zoomed in on the murderer. Anyone who's played The Sims 2 would know that sims often look at the camera and break the fourth wall. Ruki did the same, but the scowl and insane-looking eyes made it much creepier and harder to look at.
I heard a sound emanating from my speakers. It seemed like a raspy voice, like the girl from The Ring. It was Ruki.

"Humans get jealous easily. What makes you think we're any different?"

After the last word was spoken, my computer shut down suddenly. I was reluctant to press the power button, for fear that something would come through my screen. It wouldn't turn back on.

Days later, while my computer was at the shop, I asked my friend if he had sent me an email with a .package file attached.

"No, my computer crashed a few days ago when I was playing The Sims..." He trailed off.

It turns out that he had received an email from someone else with a .package file attached.

I feel sorry for the poor sap who recieves the next email from my address with ".package" in the subject.

Author's Note: In case you haven't noticed, there's a space between "jealousy" and ".package" because FF.N confused it for a link and won't allow it to be posted.
