you've never seen

so much red

never in your entire life

.

the expression

a sea of red

couldn't begin to describe

this

.

bloodshed? bloodbath?

who are we, bloody mary?

no way.

something else has to fit,

something else to describe it

.

not just pain and suffering

not just death

never just death

.

you don't think anyone else

can see this

this this this this

this horror

nobody else can see

this future

.

because

the heroes die

their blood stains the ground

and the monsters survive

get to stick around

then the mortals are gone

and hope is too

and everything is desperate

and we've all been through

so much

.

so a sea of blood

can't describe the extremities

bloodbath, barely does it justice

.

then what do you call it?

(simple, reality.)

I really like the idea of rachel only seeing the suffering when she has orcale moments and I really appreciate her character for that.
