My first story on fan fiction! . reviews (even the harsh ones!) wanted! But no flaming. That's just wrong. This first chapter is more of a prologue and the next chapters shall be a lot longer and the name of my character is my own because I couldn't think of anything else. P
The other digimon characters will come in later (although some are mentioned here.)
I hate Mondays. Two periods of maths, two of science, one of geography and one of Computing. Monday's just one of those days where I wish I could just stay home. But no, I'll go to boring ol' school. That's what I thought to myself as I woke up that morning, that fateful morning. I'll never forget my experience in the digital world. My partners won't let me.
My name is Alex. I'm thirteen, short brown hair and blue/green eyes. I'm moderately tall for my age. Not a giant mind you, just taller than everyone else. I attend high school with my friends, wading through the boring subjects and getting to lunch and recess. But it isn't enough. I long for something. An adventure. There are many places I would want to go but my most wanted was The Digital World. I was in fact a friend with Tai, one of the digidestined who has saved both worlds from destruction. Oh the stories he told! About his first encounter with Devimon, his face off with Etemon and Myotismon and of course the powerful dark masters. I asked him if I could one day go with him but he said it was too dangerous. I wasn't a destined one and I didn't have a digivice.
I trek up the spiralling stairs that would lead to the corridors. These dark corridors where classmate and former digidestined Kari saw digimon appear. Divermon who had come to drag her to the Dark Ocean. This place gave me the creeps. It was always empty and quiet. A dusty smell always seemed to hang in the air as well. I continued my ascent.
I reach the top floor. Any higher and I'd be standing on the roof, only accessible by ladder. I'm surrounded by concrete supports from my left to right. They continue to meet more corridors leading to classrooms. I usually come up here when I want peace and quiet. The view isn't bad either, I can see the whole school and it looks especially fantastic during the morning when the sun is just waking up and sharing its' golden glow with us. It was here, that I noticed something. Here, I witnessed an event that changed my life forever.
