The large console room came into a blaze, fire spreading from the figure standing in the centre of the room, with energy blazing from their hands and face. The orange glow of the fire filled the white console room as sparks flew all around. The golden energy which poured from the figure's skin flowed harder as a howling scream echoed from within the fire. Soon the energy faded from the figure as they fell to the ground, sliding down the white console which inadvertently activated the sprinkler system.
The room was soon quiet, with only the noise of the now dripping sprinkler system which had died out after putting out the blazing fires. The water dropped and soon stopped after soaking the entire room. The figure, whose jumper and jeans were soaked and now way too big for them, began to stir on the cold, metal floor of the expansive ship. They began to pick themselves up, soon rising to their feet. They looked half asleep as they kept themselves up with the console, reaching for a small broken monitor. Pulling in front on their face, they looked into it. They had changed, they were now a man, with blonde hair swept back, a thin face with subtle and piercing blue eyes,
"No…" the man mumbled under his breath, now standing up straight, looking closer into the new face before him,
"Not again, I only have five left... I can't go on wasting them," he said breathlessly. His voice was cold and hard, but with an odd charisma about it, which is something he could also say of his own face. He knew it was him, he was now used to the change of appearance, but the face seemed colder, with a strange darkness behind the eyes. He always knew it was there, but now it was simply more visible. He threw the monitor aside and instantly went to the console instruments, checking the wellbeing off his ship,
"minimal damage, but a landing is suggested…" he mumbled, agreeing with his ship as he activated the landing procedure, the wheezing whirl of the TARDIS fading out.
The man looked down at himself and scoffed,
"This won't do. Right. First, new clothes. Second, figure out where I am." he said aloud to himself as he made his way to the TARDIS wardrobe.
Returning to the console room, the man had now reinvented his style, with a grey suit with a dark blue shirt and a dark floral tie. He straightened himself and walked over to the consoles, beginning to work the various controls,
"Well, it's a small planetoid on the edge of the Galaxy…" the man mumbled to himself, before looking over to the large doors,
"The TARDIS does need time to repair itself, and I don't want to be the metaphorical foreign body within its wound," he explained to himself before sighing and approaching the doors, and slowly exiting the craft.
Exiting the silver cylinder, the man came into a vast forest of purple trees, orange grass and blue soil. He found it vomit inducing. He scoffed at the environment he found himself in and turned to his silver ship,
"You better hurry up, or this place may give me a seizure…" he said in mild disgust.
Suddenly, the man heard a click from behind him, a click off a small blaster,
"Turn around...slowly…" someone said, wincing in pain.
The man turned around slowly to face the other figure, a small smirk forming on his lips. The person in question was a woman, no older than 17 dressed in a silver jumpsuit. She held the blaster towards the man with one hand and held her stomach with her other, a bloodstain having formed under her hand.
The man looked her up and down, them spoke,
"What's your name?" The girl looked apprehensively at the man,
"Why do you wanna know?" She asked quietly, wincing from her wound,
"I usually like to know the name of whoever's pointing a gun at me." The man explained calmly, looking the girl directly in the eyes,
"Kira…" the girl replied, "Who are you?" She yelled, aiming the blaster at the man's chest,
"Well...I'm commonly referred to as...the Master…" he replied with a devilish smile,
"Is that so?" Kira sarcastically replied,
"Universally," The Master said, placing his hands behind his back,
"That abdominal wound doesn't look too good, does it? I might have some medical equipment in my craft." He added, pointing to the TARDIS behind him.
Kira looked at the silver tube conspiratorially,
"That's your ship?" She asked, unconvinced,
"I promise it's far more spacious on the inside, I might even have some cake." The Master said in a patronising tone,
"Did you crash here?" He asked quietly,
"My escape pod landed here...well...more crashed here. Our ship was attacked by Daleks...my crew was wiped out…." Kira said calmly, but the Master could hear her hidden emotion,
"Well, I could help you, you know?" The Master added in a comforting, but patronising tone. Kira remained unconvinced of the Master's 'good' intentions, still aiming the blaster at the Master,
"If you lower your gun, I'll let you inside where you can get some medical attention." The Master explained.
Kira thought for a moment whether this man could be trusted. He had mysteriously appeared, and acted all kinds of strange, now offering her help. He couldn't be trusted, but it was her only option to trust him, so she lowered her gun and allowed herself to be escorted to the shop.
The Master opened the door to his ship, allowing the expansive interior to 'hypnotize' Kira as she entered. He allowed her to inspect the interior for a brief moment, allowing her amazement and curiosity to draw herself in more.
The Master smirked as he closed the doors, holding them closed as Kira pleaded, banging the doors,
"I'm sorry my dear, but the TARDIS needs a final kick to finish its self repairs, and your body just so happens to contain the natural energies it so requires." The Master explained calmly, listening to the blood curdling screams Kira was producing from within the TARDIS.
