Plans of a Broken Heart
He had felt broken when he saw Victorie kissing someone else in one of the corridors of Hogwarts. She had known he liked her but apparently that did not matter because she did not like him in return.
He was grateful it was the summer vacation because that meant he could avoid her and make sure to be at a friend's house whenever Victorie's family came over. He did have many friends that he liked to visit so it would not be extremely suspicious for him to be constantly visiting them especially since Scorpius had broken his arm recently and had been complaining daily ever since.
He had become fast friends with the son of his godfather's rival, to the amazement of both his godfather and Scorpius' father but they had accepted it claiming that they had fought enough for a couple of generations.
"How are you doing?" Scorpius asked in greeting.
"I should be asking you that," Teddy grinned.
"My arm was healed within the day but I knew there would be benefits if I continued to complain about it," Scorpius smirked in reply. "How are you though with the whole Victorie scenario?"
"I just feel awful," Teddy admitted.
"Don't worry, you are worth so much more than her," Scorpius paused for a moment, thinking, "but if you really still want her, you could always try to make her jealous."
Teddy raised a brow. "Careful, we wouldn't want you to burst a vessel thinking too hard."
Scorpius glared. "So do you want to do this or not?"
