Das Leben ist eine Schlampe (Life's a bitch)
"If you asked Sabrina Grimm to describe her life in one word, she'd probably wouldn't be able to give you a straight answer. She'd probably give you a weird look and say something sarcastic to your face."
"You sound as if you were very close to the victim Mr. Charming."
"She and her sister visited my girlfriend often officer."
"Umm…"
On the outside Charming was calmer than Daphne had ever seen him, but even she could sense the distress he hid under that tough exterior. The cop gave him a questioning look himself, his eyebrows twitching at the short and answers he received from the mayor. Daphne's face was stained from wet drops, it felt as though someone took a blade, stabbed her heart and craved a piece out of it.
"I'm sorry for your loss."
They had said the same thing repeatedly like a bad chorus. Wasn' it bad enough? Why did they have to make her heart bleed again and again. Didn't they suffer enough through the last few years. Why? Why did it have to be their family?
"Das Leben ist eine schlampe."
Uncle Jake was right. Life is a-you know what.
Death's clammy hands had squeezed out the rest of the family's happiness and joy, milking it up like there was no tomorrow.
Why didn't he take me? She thought. Why not me?
She could almost feel his horrid breath on her neck, those bony hands clamped around her neck, but at the last second, he decided he wanted something-someone better. They didn't blame her, but wasn't it her fault?
"Das Leben ist eine schlampe Granny."
"I know Daphne. I know."
I know that it was short, but whatever. See you guys soon. Review, if you have the time.
