Shadow's P.O.V

Nothing in the world could've prepared us what was going to happen next.

Squeezing Juliette's hand, I keep praying she will not pass out from the pain. She's done that before and that was only when she had a tooth pulled out.

Now she's giving birth to our first child. We didn't know the gender for we kept it a suprise for when it's born.

"Shadow, this hurts like hell!" Juliette says crushing my hand. Sweat was dripping down her face.

"Hang in there, Jewels.. it's almost over. Just think! You're bringing our little one into the world." I say to her.

"Just a few more pushes." the doctor says to Juliette.

"SHIZZZ!" Juliette yells using the made up curse word she uses on a daily basis, pushing one more time.

"Oh dear.." The doctor says.

"What?" I say concern.

"The pup might of breached.." The doctor says to me.

"I-I know what we can do.. I push and Shadow can pull it out by its torso gently at the same time.." Juliette says panting.

I grab the torso and pull as Juliette pushed. "We're halfway there!" I say. "Just one more push and you should be all set."

Juliette pushed until the pup came out.

The sound of an infant was heard in the room.

"It's a boy!" the doctor says after cleaning the pup.

He hands the pup to Juliette and she holds him gently in her arms.

"He's perfect." She says happily.

The boy had the exact features of Juliette, white with cyan quills were both like hers and Sonic's.

The boy open his eyes to reveal their ruby red color.

"He may look like me but he has your eyes." Juliette says. Looking at the pup, Juliette says "Welcome to the world, little Markelas."

"Markelas?" I say.

"Yeah. I was stuck between Nicholas and Mark, so I combined the two. You like it?" Juliette says smiling.

Looking at the pup in her arms, I say "It's perfect."

Juliette holds out Markelas out for me to hold. "Wanna hold him?" She says.

"Of course." I say taking Markelas in my arms.

I still couldn't believe we created such a amazing creature. Markelas played with my chest fur with his tiny hands.

"Looks like he's obsessed with my chest fur just like you." I say to Juliette smiling.

"Shiz, it was painful, but he was worth it." She says smiling as well.

Markelas had soon fell asleep in my arms, snuggling into my chest.

I give him back to Juliette, who craddles him in her arms. She starts singing to him softly.
