We will let the wind carry us away

We will forget about the world, pressing in on us,

Crushing us with its azure might

We will leave our worries and tears behind

And in a haze of forever and eternity, we will run

We will chase the sun from west to east

We will live for ourselves and no one else

We will search for our meanings amongst the stars

We will live for the forever that still hasn't come

We will never look back on what could've been

We will live how we've always wanted

Tomorrow we will be

We will head for the mountains and the lakes

Where the wind freely dances across the empty mountainside

Where the forgotten souls of lovers embrace and collide

And the sun reigns down over the land of the great

We will become lost in the shape that our bodies create

And the beating of our hearts will entangle

With the crashing drum of the lake

We will memorise the plains of each other's bodies

And make love under the heavens we were born to climb

We will paint stories across our spines in aureolin and amber

We will kiss for the night and hold on for the day

We will flee their staring eyes and pushing hands

We will throw back their broken promises and we will sprint

We will carve our way through the countryside

We will leave our mark on the land that could be ours

We will sculpt our future in golden silk

We will escape their mighty stares, one step at a time

Will it be enough to outrun them?
Maybe, maybe not

Maybe we don't care

(Maybe it's worth it)

Because, darling, after all,

Tomorrow we will be

[But today we will stay and today we will sit

We will trudge through their palace of grey

We will think of the days coming and the days left behind

We will remember all that has past and our golden kingdom to come

And we will sit through the lies and the glares and the torment

One final time

Because we know that

Tomorrow, we will
