"You look amazing." Dan whispered, running his hands up and down Serena's sides.
"Thank you." She leaned her head back and kissed him lightly before turning back to the ornament she was currently trying to hang on the tree.
"You know, we ought to go tree shopping more often." He fingered the engagement sitting on her left ring finger and smiled.
"Definitely." She agreed, picking up the gold star from one of the boxes. "Help me?"
Dan knelt to the ground, grunting as Serena climbed onto his back. "You've gotten heavy."
"Shut up!" She giggled, shrieking when he pretended to almost drop her. She carefully put the star on top and asked to be let down.
"Nah, I'm good." Dan laughed.
"Daniel Humphrey! Let me down right now!!" She screamed as he started to spin in circles, making her dizzy.
"More spinning? Of course baby."
"You're mean." Serena muttered, when he finally set her down on the couch.
"Love you too." He chuckled, placing small kisses over her face.
"Mmm, you smell good." She murmured, kissing him back feverishly. She grasped his shirt tightly, fingers pressing down on his skin.
"You do too." Dan mumbled, attacking her neck with kisses
