From the moment he laid eyes on them, he knew they were going to be trouble. An avenger, a trouble maker (and Kyuubi container), and the obsessed fan girl. But as time passed, he couldn't believe how much they had all grown. But as much he had wants to, he can't get credit for being the sensei of Naruto Uzumaki (future Hokage) and Sakura Haruno (the amazing medic). He had only concentrated on Sasuke. He didn't know what caused him to be so... judging. Maybe he had thought that they were not worthy of his attention. So he cast them aside, and only Sasuke remained in the spotlight. But the Sasuke betrayed Konoha. So his plan to turn Sasuke into the best shinobi failed. Then his realized his mistake. By the time he had realized it, everyone had found a new sensei. Naruto had Jiraiya, and Sakura had Tsunade. Even Sasuke now had Orochimaru. Everyone was talking about them, how they were going to be the new Legendary Sannin. And Kakashi didn't have anything to do with it.
He failed.

When Iruka-sensei announced their teams in the Academy, he knew he was doomed. The baka and the fan girl in one package?! Are you kidding?! But he waited. For the right opportunity to come along for him to strike. Nothing was in his mind except for the want to get revenge. So he waited. And when it was the right time, he left.

As long as he can remember, no one had ever liked him. But he did not why. Why did everyone hate him? He always wondered that. But when he got into the Academy and became a real ninja, he got a fresh start. He made so many friends. Sakura, Haku, Rock Lee, Shikamaru, Chouji, Gaara, and a lot of other people. He was all thankful for them. Because they had befriended him. He will learn all he can from Ero-sannin and become stronger. So he can defend his friends and Konoha for as long as he lives. That's why, after all, he chose to become Hokage.

Maybe she should've concentrated more on ninja training than looking at Sasuke. Then maybe she could have kept him from leaving, or become a better person. But no. She chose to stay and look at Sasuke. There was a mysterious aura around him, sucking her in… But all that changed when he left. Right now, she couldn't care less if he was dead! He betrayed Konoha! But she knew, in some parts of her heart, she still loved him. To get rid of all feelings, she decided to become more intense on training. She bacme a workaholic. She learned medical jutsus under Tsunade, one of the legendary Sannin! She wanted to get stronger, so she would not get looked upon. She was always protected, left behind. But not any longer. She longed to join the ranks of Sasuke and Naruto, who always took ten steps for one of hers.
She longed.
