A/N: Hey, here I am with another one. No, this isn't a song fic, but, I got my inspiration from John Rzeznik's (of the Goo Goo Dolls) song 'I'm Still Here'. It's a pretty cool song that reminded me of Natsuki. So yeah, please enjoy! - A Bottle of Mayo

Why was life so hard? Why did she constantly fall and scrape her knees? Why didn't anyone bother to help her back up?
Actually that last question had no one else to blame but herself. 'Cause I pushed her away. No, I keep pushing her away. Again and again.
"Sh-Sh...zuru..." What a pathetic waste of space she had become. Mother must be proud of her now.
After falling so many times she figured that at least she would become immune from the cold sting of concrete. Her freshly battered knuckles, bruised from the constant pounding of the wooden door, slowly allowed blood to trickle down her arms.
"It hurts...Shi...zuru..." My heart, it hurts. Her lips mouthed out, 'Please don't go away.'
"Don't leave me," she whimpered like a wounded puppy. The sound of a door opening barely registered in the raven haired girl's mind, before a warmth without comparison soon wrapped itself protectively around her.
"...Natsuki, I'm still here."
