Disclaimer: I do not own pokemon
Another dead, another of my useless human dead.
The procession of people went away one by one as I stood to watch my eighth human's funeral through emotionless, fiery red eyes.
I felt nothing for his death for he was just another passing person, just another passing life, just another passing memory.
He was nothing to me.
All he had done was to force me to get stronger so that when I was commanded to fight against other fellow beings, I will emerge victorious and bring him pride.
'It is wrong', that was what my first human said, the one that I had nearly called her master had she not died so early. She was always strongly against fighting, or rather, what she called 'Pokemon Batlling'. She always said that it was not right to fight and that fighting will not result in anything except hurt and pain.
I did not truly understand the meaning of it at that time for I wad still young and naive, but when my second human came into my life, I understood.
She was right.
It was not fun at all, not mentioning, meaningless.
Why should my fellow beings be forced to fight, forced to attack with our inborn powers just for some stupid things called badges and what's more, we were forced by other beings who called themselves humans and thought themselves superior to us. Just because we were forced to do what they wanted when we were call in a ball, we were thought inferior.
Why will they do that? You might ask, but the answer is simple, because they have the power to do so.
It was unfair, but this world is unfair, as I learnt when I grew in knowledge of this world, at the expense of my useless innocence which my first human thought was invaluable.
That, I do not understand.
But I will, for I had much more time then those humans, a thousand years to learn, which was eternity compared to their short, miserable time.
Yet, I was not happy.
I had to learn in this twisted, tainted world.
I headed towards a forest, resigned to the fate of waiting.
The fate of waiting in the wilds until another human finally managed to overcome my powers and catch me in the all-too-familiar ball.
But I will make it harder this time for I had grew stronger, this time, I will make sure that the new human be hurt and injured, to experience the agony of fighting first-handed, before I am caught.
I, Astriel the Ninetales, swear that.
I will have my revenge.
End
