DISCLAIMER: I do not own TNBC, Tim Burton does, but Nightshade is all mine.
Hello everybody! My name is Nightshade, and welcome to my Halloween special!
For those of you who don't know me, go and read about me in my story, 'Nightshade's Tales'.
Now then, as you should probably know, Halloween is coming up. If, for some reason, you aren't prepared for the night of fright, you are in the right place.
First step: Candy
Nowadays, on Halloween, most of the fun is little children coming to trick-or-treat. They are going to want candy.
Especially if they're the Boogie Boys. Try to avoid them.
Go to your local grocery store or supermarket and head to the candy aisle. Then, just grab an assortment of popular sweets, and maybe browse the other aisles for some special treats, like some chocolates.
Second step: Decorations
If there will be dozens of cute, little trick-or-treaters flowing down your street, you will definitely need some decorations to show that you're giving out candy.
My suggestion is grab some cash and run to the store while you can, but if you can't, try a quick and easy homemade decoration idea, easy to find on the internet.
Third step: Costumes
On Halloween, humans tend to dress up. You, too, should dress up.
Unless you are a Halloween Town citizen. Then, you're already dressed up.
You should already have a costume that you got earlier in the month. If you've fallen behind in planning and don't have a costume, first rush to the store and see if there's anything there. If not, try browsing the web for simple ideas you can make yourself quickly.
Fourth step: Party Entertainment
Some of you will probably be holding a Halloween party at your house. You will need some entertainment for your guests.
Music is my first suggestion. If you have candy for trick-or-treaters, they will also enjoy themed music in the background. I would definitely recommend 'This Is Halloween'.
If music isn't your cup of slimy tea, how about some movies? Your guests will be sure to enjoy some. If you have children at the party, try some more child-safe films, like 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'. If there are no children present, watch whatever you want.
Fifth step: Party Food
For Halloween party hosts, food is necessary. Especially for those who require food.
If candy won't satisfy your party's needs alone, there should be some nice themed treats at stores in your area, like cupcakes. If not, try baking yourself and give it a Halloween look.
There. That should cover all your Halloween needs. My work here is done. Yes, even in Halloween Town.
We've decorated Jack's tower completely, we have some creepy music playing and the whole family is in Halloween attire (we don't need costumes here).
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a Halloween feast to serve to a very hungry skeleton/ragdoll family.
Oh, and one more thing…
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this little tribute. I felt guilty because I haven't uploaded a chapter in 'Nightshade's Tales' recently (because I have been very sick), so I whipped this up for you. Don't forget to review!
