I DON'T OWN LAW & ORDER: SVU. THIS STORY CONTAINS VIOLENCE AND CHILD ABUSE, READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.
Thursday, May 24, 2018 started off like any other day in the Atkins household. Alan overslept as usual and his old man took yet another chance to give him Hell.
"Alan Albert Atkins, you get your ass out of bed this instant and get to school!" Mr. Atkins shouted. Alan slowly got up out of bed. He was tall and his short blonde hair covered his scalp. After he got dressed, he went into his sister Andrea's room. Andrea was curled up in a fetal position. Alan walked over to her and stroked her long blonde hair.
"Hey Andrea, we gotta get up." He said as she looked up at him.
"I don't wanna go to school." Andrea complained. Alan leaned in.
"We won't, we'll skip school and go have fun." Alan whispered as Andrea smiled at him. Once she'd gotten dressed, the siblings went downstairs where they saw their parents eating breakfast. Alan and Andrea ate a few eggs as they took their back packs. Before they got to the door though, Mr. Atkins stopped Andrea and grabbed her ass.
"You better come home right after school, cause I got plans for us." He said in a sleazy tone. Andrea held back tears.
"Yes Daddy." She replied as her old man let go of her and she headed out the door with her brother. They got into Alan's Volkswagen beatle and pulled out of the driveway. As they drove, they tuned into an old 50's radio and sang along.
Well, that'll be the day, when you say goodbye
Yes, that'll be the day, when you make me cry
You say you're gonna leave, you know it's a lie
'Cause that'll be the day when I die
Well, you give me all your loving and your turtle doving
All your hugs and kisses and your money too
Well, you know you love me baby, until you tell me, maybe
That some day, well I'll be through
Well, that'll be the day, when you say goodbye
Yes, that'll be the day, when you make me cry
You say you're gonna leave, you know it's a lie
'Cause that'll be the day when I die
Instead of going to school, Alan and Andrea picked up some grub from the local Arby's and stopped in the parking lot to eat.
"You know dad's gonna give us Hell when he finds out we cut class." Andrea replied she finished a pork roast sandwich.
"He'll give us Hell whether we go to school or not." Alan replied as he downed his milkshake. Andrea was quiet as she looked out the window.
"I don't wanna go home Alan, all he does is touch me. I hate it." Alan out his hand on her shoulder.
"I should be protecting you, I love you Andrea, you know that right?" Andrea nodded as she got angry.
"Dad's the kind of bastard you'd like to kill." She spat. Alan squeezed her hand. Suddenly, he got an idea.
"Then why don't we?" He said.
"Why don't we what?" She asked.
"Kill the pervert."
"You can't be serious." Andrea replied.
"Why not, other for the fact that's against the law, you give me a good reason why we shouldn't kill him." Alan argued. Andrea thought for a minute, but couldn't come up with one.
"If we killed him, he'd never touch me again." She said smiling.
"Besides, you've been getting better with the 1894." Alan reminded her. Mr. Atkins had 2 Winchester rifles that he loved. A Winchester 1866 and a Winchester 1894. Sometimes, when their old man was on business trips, Alan and Andrea would take them out and do some target practice. Andrea was a good shot, Alan was better.
"Could we really do it?" Andrea asked.
"You bet we could, then we'd be free. We could whatever we want, wherever we want, whenever we want, and however we want and no one can stop us." Alan answered. Andrea grinned from ear to ear as she held him tight.
"Let's do it." She said. "Let's kill the bastard." Alan smiled as they toasted their milkshakes to their father's imminent demise.
NEXT TIME, ALAN AND ANDREA PROVE THEMSELVES AS NATURAL BORN KILLERS. REVIEWS NEEDED.
