Im just a little droid, but today I saw something shocking and sad. Two best friends got into a terrible battle.
One of them was apparently called Obi Wan and the other I knew, he was Darth Vader.
Obi Wan had tears in his eyes through this battle. I remember what he said to Master Vader when Vader was standing on me and Obi Wan on a large platform floating on the lava. He said, "I have failed you, Anakin, I have failed you"
What had he meant? Did he know this man wasn't named Anakin?
Master Vader had yelled, "I should have known the Jedi were plotting to take over!"
Obi Wan had replied to that with a shocking sentence, "Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine is evil!"
Who was Chancellor Palpatine? Master Vader must have known what he meant because he yelled, "From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!"
Obi Wan had tears in his eyes now and he said in a shaky voice, "Then you really are lost!"
They continued battling and Vader had jumped off me and onto the other man's platform.
The other man jumped on a hill of mud by the landing platform. "It's over Anakin! I have the high ground!"
Vader had yelled with much hate and anger, "You underestimate my power!"
Obi Wan had practically begged, "Don't try it!"
But Vader and jumped and Obi Wan had cut off his legs and arm… I watched in horror… this was the most horrible thing I had ever seen!
Obi Wan had started yelling, "YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT WAS SAID THAT YOU WOULD DESTROY THE SITH, NOT JOIN THEM! YOU WERE TO BRING BALANCE TO THE FORCE, NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS!"
That poor man Obi Wan, he was crying, he looked like he was in so much pain…
"I HATE YOU!" Vader screamed.
Obi Wan looked at Vader, lying helplessly on the ground with pity and… love? Was that love I saw in his eyes?
"You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!" He yelled.
Master Vader caught on fire and screamed in agony… Obi Wan had turned and left… I decided it was time for me to leave as well…
This day was the most terrible day… it was the worst thing I had ever seen in my life…
