Dean exited the motel office, swinging the keys. "Okay, Sam we're all checked in…"

Sam held up his hand, signaling for quiet. Dean came to a halt, senses alert. Sam motioned for him to come around to his side of the car. Dean joined him, looking into the expanse of forest on the other side of the road. Sam pointed and smiled.

Dean knew he was probably setting himself up for a night of being mocked, but he really didn't care. As he watched the doe and faun graze, oblivious to the two men, a tear slid down his check.
