Here's story two. It takes place in Kai and Nya's childhood.
Kai and Nya zoomed down the hill on their bikes trying to hurry home for dinner. That's when Kai hit a rock and was sent flying into the nearby river.
"Kai!" Nya gasped, "Somebody help my brother!"
Several people walked past the screaming little girl and her drowning brother, but a man dressed in simple clothing ran to the river and pulled him out.
"You're going to be okay kid. Praise God that I heard your sister screaming," the man smiled and wrapped Kai in his jacket, "Now where do you live so I can take you home?"
A good twenty minutes later, the man handed over Kai and Nya to their worried parents.
"Thank you so much for saving my son," Daniel shook his hand.
"Don't thank me. Thank God. If he hadn't put me on that particular path today, I would have never found them."
"What is your name so we can repay you?" Lauren asked still not getting the point.
"You can call me a Good Samaritan. Return the deed to someone else," the man instructed, nodded his head, and drove away in his rusty pickup.
Hope you all enjoyed. I always wanted to write a story about why Kai is afraid of water, but it turned out to be so much more. A man told my mom that when he played for her coffee the other day. So this story comes with a challenge. Find someone you don't know and help them in some shape or form. Tell them that you're a Good Samaritan and pass the deed on to someone else that they don't know. Do this as many times as you would like. I will be doing this too. I'd like to start a chain reaction with this like the God's Not Dead thing going around now. If you're in, please let me know. I'd like to pray that God will show you where you can be a Good Samaritan in your own life. God bless. See Ya!
