Castiel looked but couldn't see her but her last words replayed over and over "you can be human castiel, all you have to do is fall." Suddenly he heard footsteps behind him but he already knew who they belonged to, Dean. Castiel spoke "I wish I was human, life would be so much easier,"
Dean's P.O.V
Dean felt a bit confused, where did this come from. Castiel looked over his shoulder and gazed at Dean "I feel jealousy towards you Dean, you get to do whatever you want…you get to have feelings and connect with people, I just feel nothing…" Dean was still astonished by Castiel's words bud said "No Cas, you don't feel nothing, I care about you so does Sam…being human is not easy, you have to fight everyday to stay alive and you get hurt man, feelings suck, being human is not the best thing in the world."
Cas P.O.V
After a while of silence Castiel broke from Dean's gaze and said "I should probably return home now," he was about to fly away when he heard Dean whisper "Cas…don't go, don't go yet, come inside with me and Sam," but Castiel looked back and saw Dean trying to hold in his emotions and went over and put a hand on his shoulder and said "I will come back Dean, I always do…for you."
Dean P.O.V
Dean closed his eyes to stop the tears threatening to fall and heard a flap of wings and opened his eyes to see Cas…gone. Castiel had left him again. Dean turned and punched the lamppost and slide down it and prayed for Cas to come back but he didn't, Dean stayed sitting next to the post till the sun began to rise and then he thought, I have to prove it, I have to prove Castiel can feel.
