True Love Finds a Way
Ch. 1
"I will destroy your happiness, if it the last thing I do." threatened the Evil Queen.
"Hey!" yelled Charming, sword in hand. He throws it at her and she disappeared in a cloud of purple smoke along with the sword. He put his arms around Snow, tucking her close to his chest in a comforting gesture. "Hey," he said more gently "she can't hurt us anymore. She's powerless against us, as long as we have each other."
Snow tries to hold back her tears, a few slip out but she brushed them away quickly and composed herself. "I know, but she won't stop until she gets her revenge."
"She has no more power. How can she hurt us without it?" he said.
Everyone was looking at them now with scared expressions. Snow gathered all her courage and announced to the crowd "Friends, family and citizens of the Enchanted Forest, we all should be happy and celebrating this joyous day. Regina can't hurt you anymore. Not with us protecting you." She looked at Charming, her new husband. "Let's celebrate this momentous day and forget the Evil Queen's threat. She can't hurt us anymore."
The crowd cheered and they headed toward the Great Ball Room. The reception was a dream come true. They danced, drank and ate in peace. Snow and Charming were inseparable. The threat all but forgotten.
When the clock struck midnight, Snow and Charming said goodnight to their guests and headed to their bed chambers.
