Silent eyes
Silent Eyes watching from the shadows,
shinning with withheld anguish.
Screaming what she'll never say,
screaming her pain in silence.
No one notices the silent,
anguished eyes.
They pass her by,
as she's huddled around her own pain,
praying for salvation.
Yet the sun passes her by,
not shedding light on her silent eyes.
