Love at first sight is complete crap. You don't just stare at someone and love. Sure you might have an attraction to the person, but you don't just fall in fricken LOVE. Love is a very formal relationship. You need to get to know the person, know his or her likes and dislikes and his or hers personality, before you say you're in love. Jeez, I sound like a young teenage girl.
I'm Gwen Woodberry and if you don't like my views the get the heck out of my head. It's normal to talk to yourself right? Whatever, as I was saying: Love... You can't just fall in love by looking into the eyes of the person. However, it may be possible to like-like someone at first sight...
There I was minding my own business at Starbucks. It was 6:00 on a Monday morning... and I just wanted my dang coffee before I had to go to work, and work my butt off at the hospital. Of course the guy with the chicken hair in front of me couldn't go because the stupid cashier kept flirting with him.
"So... What's your taste in woman," She asked batting her eyelashes. I think I'm going to puke...
"Ma'am... please just give me my coffee," He said... No he didn't SAY it, he GROWLED it. God what is he, Edward Cullen?
"Don't you want more then that," She asked trying to seduce him. I rolled my eyes.
"Ma'am. Other people want there coffee to... Just give me mine so I can leave," He growled at her. I twitched. At least he cares for the other people (Ignoring the fact the little annoying voice in the back of my head saying: OH-EM-GEE this means he cares for YOU!")...I sighed. You know what... I'm getting involved.
"Listen lady! Just give him his stupid coffee so I can get mine before I have to go to hell known as work," I stepped forward glaring at the lady.
"Jealous are you," She purred. The guy next me groaned.
"No... I. Just. Want. My. Dang. Coffee. Two sugars. No milk.," I glowered at her. She paled.
"C-coming right up," She stuttered, "Yours will be out soon to sir." She hurried to the back. I heard chuckling from next to me.
"You scared the crap out of her," Snickered the man next to me. I turned and nearly recoiled. The handsomest man on earth stood there. Maybe he really is Edward Cullen. Something pounded inside my chest. My heart rate accelerated. I blinked once then shock my head.
"I need my coffee in the morning," I managed to say something in a normal tone.
"I see," He said cocking an eyebrow, "Duncan Orly." He held out a hand. I looked at him and took it.
"Gwen Woodberry. Nice to meet cha'," I said. He raised an eyebrow. I've a always wished I could do that.
"I'd say so... You got me my coffee..." He smirked. My heart skipped a beat. Oh god that can't be healthy...
"H-here you two are," I turned to see the lady came back. I smirked and grabbed my coffee. Duncan threw money on the counter and left.
"Jeez... Coffee cost THAT much," I gaped. The lady shook her head.
"I believe he was paying for you too..." She mumbled something under her breath that would be rude to repeat... I sighed and stomped out of Starbucks trying to find where the heck he went, there he was, leaning against the wall.
"Yo," He said. I glared.
"You payed for me," I said.
"Your point," He asked.
"I have to pay you back," I said.
"How about you let me take you out instead. I'll meet you here to night at eight. Alright Gwenny," He said. My jaw slew open.
"F-fine!" I yelled.
"Fine," He agreed and walked away. As he did I swear to god he took something of mine with him...
My heart.
I never said anything about love at SECOND sight...
