Jessie walked up the steps of a school. Dumbledore had written her, telling her to come so they could talk about her enrolling at Hogwarts. Now she was making her way down to his office. Once there she knocked on the door.

"Come in." A voice said as the door opened on its own.

Jessie walked in, Dumbledore was sitting at his desk. "You wrote to me saying to come here to talk about my coming to Hogwarts."

Dumbledore stopped what he was doing. "Ah, yes, Ms. Jessie Black. Please have a seat. Why are you looking to transfer to Hogwarts after being in another school for a year?"

Jessie sat in a chair in front of his desk. "I just moved to London and I wanted to go to a school that was closer to where I live now."

"May I ask where you moved from?" Dumbledore asked looking very interested in what Jessie was saying.

"I moved from America. I was sent to America after my parents died, to live with my cousins. They are the only living relatives I have, aside from my Uncle Sirius." Jessie explained her voice soft.

Dumbledore nodded, "Have you been keeping in touch with Sirius?" He asked, a glint in his eyes.

Jessie looked shocked when he first said this. Then a mischievous smile spread on her face. "Why Professor, you know that you can't contact people in Azkaban. Besides most animals won't go there, too much like death for them."

"Most?" Dumbledore said raising an eyebrow.

"My owl will go there for me, and stay till there is a response." Jessie said absently.

"Well I wouldn't mention that to anyone else. They might get the wrong idea. You may come to school here, I hope you will take the Hogwarts Express from King's Cross, platform 9 ¾. Let's you talk to some of the students." Dumbledore stood to see Jessie out, Jessie stood as well. He picked up something off his desk, "Here are you supply list and ticket for the train." He handed the stuff to Jessie.

"Thanks I'll be here. How do I know what house to sit with?" Jessie asked taking the papers from Dumbledore.

"When you come a teacher will ask for you to follow them. You will be sorted before the first years. Good Day, Ms. Black." Dumbledore sat down after he said this.

"Good day, Professor." Jessie walked out of his office, out of Hogwarts, and off the grounds. She then apparated to her house in London. This is going to be a long year, I think.
