A/N: Here's a random idea I got and had to write. Pointless fluff. Below is a Beta Note, from my lovely beta reader, LadyxPhantomhive.

B/N: Listen to Nu'est. Whatever you do in life, listen to 'em.

Oh yeah, baka Grapefruit forgot a disclaimer. We don't own Death Note. Or Nu'est... Oh how I wish I were Korean... And older...

Matt and Mello walked through the carnival. They were close in the crowd, hands intertwined. Matt caught the eye of a glaring old lady and shot back an even more poisonous look. They came across a booth, where a blotchy boy somewhere between the age of seventeen and twenty-one and wearing a goofy hat held a sign offering a shooting game, five shots for a dollar. Ten points won a regular plushie, twenty won deluxe, and fifty won super deluxe.

"Matty, do you want to play?" Mello offered. Matt's eyes probably lit up (you couldn't see from behind the goggles) and he grinned.

"Yes. Heck yes." Mello rolled his eyes and put two dollars down on the table. The attendant put the gun on the table. Matt surveyed the booth: three targets marked one point, two marked five, and one tiny target marked ten.

"I only need an average of five points to win. That should be easy enough." He picked up the gun and shot rapidly. The first eight hit the five-point marks, but the ninth hit a one-point target. Mello squirmed in anticipation as Matt aimed. The foam pellet made the ten-point target and Matt picked an enormous panda. The redhead presented his more-than-friend with the prize.
"What, are you trying to woo me with gifts or something?" Mello joked as they walked toward concessions. "Or is it the manliness-factor? Because I can tell you, I'm a lot manlier than you are."

"Says the guy with chick hair."

"I… that was uncalled for. I am totally more masculine."

"Well, considering you just said totally, I'm more masculine."

"Ahem. Let's not forget some things, shall we?"

"Shut up and I'll buy you chocolate." Mello mimed locking his lips shut with a key, then handed the imaginary key to Matt. Matt "unlocked" Mello's lips and kissed him lightly.

"You're a girl, right?" a little girl asked Mello. The boys grinned. She hadn't heard the conversation.

"Sure, kiddo," Mello said, stifling laughter.

"Okay," she said, walking away.

"Kids are weird," remarked Matt.

"They sure are, Matty. They sure are."
