Chapter 1

It was around 2:45 that Mark Sloan was leaving his daughter to go and pick up his daughter off the bus when he was leaving his apartment locking it up when he heard the elevator chime and open and looks back over his shoulder.

"Hey." his girlfriend Julia of 6 and a half years was walking towards him

"Hey." he says with a big smile and leans her against the table Callie and Arizona had put out in thier hallway just in case Mark needed to leave anything while they weren't home and kisses her deeply and passionately

"Mmm." she moans in his mouth

Mark pulls away "what are you doing here?" he wonders

"came to see my man and his daughter." she tells him and smiles

Mark just smiles at her.

"she's getting home from school soon isn't she?" she wonders

"yeah I was just about to go and meet her downstairs when she gets off the bus." he tels her

"so do you have her all night?" she wonders

"just till bedtime." he tells her

"oh okay." she says and smiles

"Callie and Arizona work till 8." he tells her

"oh okay." she says

"why?" he wonders

"because I wanted to go to somewhere and get a drink with you and play some darts and maybe dance a little." she tells him

Mark just smiles "I like your thinking." he tells her and runs his hand down her shoulder to her arm and just thinks

"but...?" she wonders

"I...as much as I would love to I can't." he tells her

"oh." she says against his lips

"sorry, not on the nights I have Sofia." he tells her and just holds her hip and goes in for another kiss and kisses her deeply holding her close to him

Julie just kisses him back just as deeply with her eyes closed and pulls his hand up a little while later and checks his watch and pulls back from the kiss.

"mmm sweetie." she says

"hmm?" he wonders

"Sofia." she tells him

"shhh." he shushes her

"We've got time." he tells her and goes back to kissing her holding her cheeks

"mmm but what if.." Julie tries to tell him

"shh Stop talking." he tells her and goes back to trying to kiss her again

"Callie or Arizona come home." she tells him

Mark just pulls back and sighs "fine." he says

"Mark please don't be mad!" Julie tells him

"not mad, you're probably right." he tells her

"right and if Sofia had come home to what we were just doing and then tell Callie and Arizona." she tells him

Mark just sighs "okay I'm going to go and get her now." he tells her

"okay." she says and smiles

"go on inside." he hands her the key and goes to the elevator and presses the button and gets in and rides it downstairs to go and pick up Sofia.
