To those that may still be listening,

When I created this account, I was a young teenager with no other outlet. I had troubling thoughts taunting me each day, looming in the back of my mind. It was painful and distracting and I had no escape. It was Hell.

One day, after reading several novels and feeling particularly inspired, my friend caught wind of my passion for writing. She heard about it, jotted this site's URL onto a scrap paper from her binder at school, and slid it to me with a smile. "Check out this website," she encouraged. "I think you'll really like it."

And like it I did. I loved it. Every second of staying up to ungodly hours, typing away at my old desktop, I was in Heaven. This site had become a place to vent my feelings, my thoughts, my ideas and my troubles to a faceless and (generally) accepting audience. It was wonderful. It was 2009 when I made this account, 2010 when I finished my first story (totalling at 120,000 words) and 2012 when I deleted everything. I'd decided that chapter of my life had been written and was over, and any remnants of those few years I wanted to destroy. I did so without hesitation.

This is not to build on what I had destroyed - in fact, I have no desire to continue writing stories based on another author's characters. At this point in time, doing so would just feel wrong, as I've created so many of my own characters since abandoning this site. No - this is to build on a fresh foundation, to reach out to the people who may still be on this site, lingering, waiting for something interesting to happen. This, as I present to you now, is for the wandering minds of Fanfiction.

Thank you. Thank you for all the wonderful reviews that you all took the time to write about my stories. Thank you for anyone who is reading this that still remembers who I am, what I wrote and what they thought of it. Thank you for helping me through one of the hardest times in my life without even realizing it.

I hope this site - this community - has helped other people overcome their demons, too.

The purpose of this note, dear wandering minds, is to alert any of the followers my profile has (if any of you are still active on this site) that I will be writing again. No, it won't be Fanfiction. No, it will not be my own original stories. Yes, it will be a blog.
