Nightmare
"Please don't kill him", Brennan begs
"I will kill him and have you all to myself", Christopher Pelant says
Brennan looks at Booth who Pelant had a gun to his head.
"I love you Bones", Booth says
There is a bang and Booth is dead on the floor.
"NOOOOOOO!" Brennan screams
"Bones Wake UP!" a voice says
She feels someone shaking her shoulders. She sits upright in bed gasping for air.
"Shh Bones it was all a dream", a voice mummers bringing her to a bare chest
She tries to calm done as a voice mummers in her ear. She recognise it has her Booth. It was just a dream. Booth was alive. She starts to relax against his chest.
"Are you ok Bones?" Booth asks kissing her forehead
"I will be. As long as you are with me", Brennan says
"What was this dream about?" Booth asks
"Pelant killed you. I don't want to loss you", Brennan says closing her eyes
She remembers her dream and how bad it was.
"Bones. Pelant is dead. He can't hurt me anymore. I will never leave you", Booth says holding her close and kissing her head
"I know it is not logical", Brennan says
"It is perfectly logical for you to have a nightmare. I had nightmares when I thought you were killed. It will go away in time. I am here for you. Remember that. I will never leave you", Booth says kissing her passionately
Brennan kisses him back. Feeling much better.
"Thank you Booth. I can't wait to marry you", Brennan says as Booth lies down with her in his arms
"I can't wait to marry you either Bones. And no one will be able to take you away from me again", Booth says
"And no one can take me away from you either", Bones says yawning
"Go to sleep Bones. I will make sure the nightmares stay away", Booth says
"Thanks Booth. I love you", she says starting to fall asleep again
"I love you too Bones. With all my heart", Booth says
Brennan didn't have any more nightmares after that. Booth definably had a way of getting rid of nightmares…
