It's just some fluff that I came up with out of boredom. I hope you like it. I may even continue it, if you ask nicely. :)

Paramore, We Are Broken

He stared down at the lovely woman that was his and his alone. She sat in her polished, blue diamond throne with one head propped against the headrest, her eyelids fluttering as she dreamed. Her thick, golden curls fell in loose ringlets to her hips, which were the wide, berthing kind. Her slender fingers curled together in her lap, and her knees were scrunched up against her chest, and it made her honey colored dress curl in an odd fashion.

Her full, shell pink lips fell open slightly in contrast to her olive skin, and her nose wrinkled a little, as she murmured something in her sleep.

He could have stared at his lovely woman for hours -- but he knew that this must have been an uncomfortable position for her, even if she was sleeping somewhat peacefully.

What had caused her to be sleeping now, he wouldn't know. The world above them was dying of pollution -- she told him it was giving her insomnia. He smiled a little, before quietly standing, and pulling her small, soft body into his arms. She was so small -- she fit perfectly against his chest. He flashed them back to their room, before carefully laying her down on her side of the bed, pulling the blankets over her.

He didn't know what provoked him to do what he did next -- he just did. He moved her hair aside, and placed a soft kiss against the base of her neck, before sitting in a chair that he conjured up, watching his lovely woman sleep.

She writhed a little in her sleep, and turned over. He saw her brow furrow a little, and it made him wonder what she was dreaming about.

"Mother, I don't care if you don't like him. He's mine." She mumbled in her sleep.

He sighed. Another dream about how much Demeter hated him. But he felt an odd warmth in the pit of his stomach when she said he was hers. He smiled. Her beautiful brown eyes flashed open, and a small smile crept across her lips.

"I'm sorry -- I never meant to fall asleep." She murmured.

"I don't mind."

He marveled at how affectionate they were to each other when they weren't in public. How it was easy to get along with her when she didn't purposely contradict him to get on his nerves just so that they could make it up to each other later.

He stood and crossed the room, laying himself on their soft bed.

"I'm going to miss you while you're gone, Persephone." He murmured, his lips against the base of her neck again.

"Mm. I don't want to leave this time," She said. She curled herself up against him, and he wrapped his arms around her, waiting her her to continue. "I'm going to miss you, love." She whispered.

He didn't continue to speak. He just held her, trying to memorize her enticing scent so he had something to remember while she was gone for the warm months with her mother. Soon, she fell asleep in his arms again, her heartbeat growing steadier and calmer.

He would miss his lovely, beautiful, adoring wife.
