Starstruck

A/N: Hey Guys! First StarStruck fanfic :) Hope you guys like :)

Takes place after the fight between Jess and Chris (: Chris's POV

What You Mean To Me

"They'll ruin everything."

"They don't have too. You already did."

Her words were deadly, so powerful. They cut through me deeper then a knife would. Tears formed in her eyes as she turned around and walked away. She's right, if she was Alexis Bender I would run straight down to the paparazzi. But Jess isn't her, Jess is Jess. The most stubborn, obnoxious, honest and beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on. I was falling for her; even in the short time I had known her. The short, fantastic, confusing time. I couldn't get her out of my mind. She was all I thought about and I had broken her heart. I had just told her she was amazing, and I had just ended it? I didn't want it to end, but I knew that if I didn't she wouldn't have a normal life. Wait a second, love is love. If it's real, the paparazzi wouldn't matter. Jess and I could make it work. Why didn't I realize that before that stupid conversation?

I didn't mean to hurt her, in fact I thought she would agree. She didn't even like me to begin with so why would she want to be with me? She doesn't want all the paparazzi, or the public eye, she just wants a normal life. I want her to have a normal life, without everything that I get everyday. The press, the screaming fans (even thought they're awesome) and the loss of privacy. She's so different from anyone I've ever met, in a good way. She changed me, made me see things from a better perspective and now she thought I was embarrassed to be seen with her. Way to stuff it up Chris!

I followed her up the beach, but she was unaware I was doing so. I saw her go into the telephone booth and cry her eyes out. I was on my way to walk up there, but I was swamped by my fans. She was on the phone when she turned around and saw me and my fans. I looked at her and I saw her. Her face was drowned with tears, her eyes red and puffy. Her mouth was starting to form an O shape, but it turned into a frown. I had really broken her heart. I gave one of my fans a hug and when I turned around again, she was gone. Vanished, no where to be seen.

I found her again though, at her school dance. The most perfect night I could ever ask for.
