The Untold Tales of Gaia 1: How Kaira Carr met Gino
Kaira leaned against a pier on the Isle de Gambino, her nose deep into a book. She was fairly new to Gaia, and didn't really know anyone. She mostly walked around, talking to different members of different clubs. Didn't join any though.
Suddenly, a young blond man stumbled down the steps towards the pier. He was panting heavily like he had been running. He was wearing a pair of red . . . well they might have been pants at one time, and that was pretty much it. His long hair was messed as he struggled to hold up said pants. But, the most interesting part was that his upper arms, which were bound to his sides, as well as his wrists, which were bound together.
"This is a really weird town." Kaira said to herself.
He looked over to her, "Please, help me." He asked gently. Kaira's right eyebrow arched, she shrugged, and walked over. She gave a little half smile as she started to untie him. They both noticed that she was a 'bit' taller than him.
"So, what's your name?" She asks as she unties the 'Love is Blind' Elegant Veil from his wrists.
"You have no idea who I am, do you?"
"Should I?"
The young man shrugged. "I'm Gino."
"Gino." Kaira thought for a minute. It sounded vaguely familiar "That's a nice name. Italian?" He shrugs again. Suddenly she gasps, "I know you. Of you." She corrected herself. She chuckles, "You went past the Harem, didn't you?"
"How'd you guess?"
"Hmmmmm. The trap actually worked. Who'd a thought?"
"You knew about the trap?!" He asks, shocked.
"Everybody knew about the trap. The LAA is even planning on making one similar to it. No one thought it would work though." Kaira shrugs as she starts untying the Angelic Sash that was pinning Gino's arms to his sides.
"Well, it worked."
"So, why do you have a 'Harem' anyway?"
"It's a fan club, of sorts." He sighed, "Why are the crazy ones always so good at tying knots?"
Kaira shrugs, "Practice. At least the didn't use the Chyaku Norisu Scarf. That thing has a mind of it's own. There!" She released him from his fabric shackles. Kaira wound the Angelic Sash around his waist as a belt. Gino blushed slightly.
"Thank you." He said as he offered his hand to her. She took it a gave it a firm shake.
"You going to be okay?"
"Yeah, I'll be f-" He was cut off but the sound of excited voices coming towards them. "Oh no."
"What? Oh, are they the ones that tied you up?"
"Yes."
"Sucks to be you." He looked so nervous. "All right, hide behind those boxes. I'll handle them." He took off. He runs fast for a little guy. She thought to herself. The crowd caught up to her.
"Have you seen Gino?" One asked.
"Yeah. I think he went that way." She pointed to the tall building next to Gold Mountain. The group took off in hot pursuit. Kaira shook her head. It was too easy, like shooting fish in a barrel. "You can come out now."
Gino came out from the pile of crates. "Thank you so much. I will never forget this. Now I have to get home before they notice I'm not where you sent them. I'll see you around."
"Hey!" She stopped him. "Here, you need it more than I do." She tossed him her black Amigo coat.
"Thank you." He slipped on the coat and ran off. He could keep the coat if he wanted, she didn't mind. Kaira had gotten a piece of the Elegant Veil collection. That alone would go for at least 80 000 gold on the market place.
Life was good.
