Didn't think I'd turn around, and

"It's too late to apologize."
His face turns redder than his hair. She thinks he hasn't been rejected before like she what doing. She had convinced herself it was the last straw; he had been with too many girls while with her, and every time, she forgave him. Not this time. It was over now.
He notices she is serious. His face returns to its normal color, and surprisingly, he gives her a weak smile. He silently thanks her, for they both know it's the right thing now. They won't be able to fool anyone anymore.
