The Pirates Tale
Smiling so evilly
With his beard all tentacally
He sails into the night.
And he sends out a fright
To those that had shipwrecked
He gave them heck.
"Are you afraid to die?" he asks with a smirk
"Yes." the pirate said with a flinch and a jerk.
"Then join my crew and me for 100 years service."
He says to the pirate named Jervice.
When out of the air he arrives like an arrow,
Our hero named Captain Jack Sparrow.
He sways and he curses,
Almost like he's in the circus.
The captain glares and stares at him
And faints does the pirate named Tim.
"You don't want to do that mate."
Captain Jack says with so much hate
For the man, his enemy, Davy Jones.
Who in turn moans and groans.
His plan is soiled.
And to this came down it boiled:
Never join Davy Jones' crew.
Those who did now knew
Death was better than this fate.
Their hearts now filled with so much hate
For the man who ripped out his heart
Because Calypso, his love who was tart
Ran from him while he was at sea
A goddess she was you see
Who needed to be out in the ocean blue
Though he knew this, it's true.
And our hero whipped out his sword
to fight the villain with not another word.
The fight, it began
On the ship The Flying Dutchman.
Tentacles swirling and pursed lip
Davy Jones and Captain Jack fought on the ship.
Swords swinging the fight for freedom
For the father of the man named William.
When a scream uttered from William who then fell down,
He was stabbed in the midst of battle, it was heard in the town.
Elizabeth his wife rushed towards him with a box.
Davy Jones shoved Captain Jack down with a force greater than an ox.
The box, it opens to show a heart.
Davy Jones runs towards them with a start
Jack sees opportunity and trips him down.
The cutlass in Will's hand is stabbed deep in the heart.
Davy Jones does not get up. He dies with no luck.
"The ship must have a captain." Wills father spoke.
Elizabeth and Captain Jack float
On sails to his boat.
The great ship named The Black Pearl..
There they float and then hurl
To the deck of his ship
That gracefully dipped
The end is near.
And so I hear
Of the new captain of the Flying Dutchman
Our very own Captain William the blacksmith he was then
Before Barbossa and his men
Took his darling Elizabeth during their first meet.
She kicked with her feet.
And now back to today
Here William Turner and his wife Elizabeth go on an island
To start their honeymoon.
"On forwards to the Fountain of Youth!" Captain Jack he yells and croons.
His faithful crew follows his instructions and there they go
Beckett just leans on his ships bow
For cannon fire was heard and killed
His ship was no more. He died with it with a chill.
The story is done.
At least this one is.
Wait until we see our friends again.
A/N this is a poem that I had to write for British Literature. It supposed to go with The Canterbury Tales. But I saw that others did theirs different so I did mine different. Please review.
