Title: My Doctor is gone

Rating: K

Summary: Rose's feelings after the Doctor's regeneration.

Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who.

Author's Note: This poem has been sitting on my computer FOREVER, begging me to add just a few lines to finish it. I can now happily say that I have done that.

My Doctor is gone

My Doctor is gone, replaced by another

How am I going to explain this to my mother?

You're both so different, yet the same

You're my knight in shining armour, and I'm your dame

But with so many changes, it's quite hard to adjust

Can I forget about the old face that I used to trust?

His hair was short, your hair is taller

You've got a mole and your ears are smaller

His piercing blue eyes replaced with a brown so deep

As I look into them it makes me want to weep

Gone is the comforting smell of old leather

And your mood changes now as often as the weather

You have a cheeky smile and lots of new bits

But despite all this, your hand still fits

I thought you wouldn't want me, I thought you didn't care

Yet we still walk forward together, the perfect pair

And when you smile at me, I know he's still inside

For only he could look at me and beam with pride

And so I will continue to be there for you now

I swore I'd have a better life, I made my solemn vow

I'll be there for you Doctor, no matter what your face

I'll follow you forever, through all of time and space

But if we ever are parted, please know that this is true:

Doctor, my Doctor – I will always love you.

Not much to it, I know. Hope you enjoyed it anyway, and please review.
