What is it about you

You're big

You're loud

You're tough NYC

I go years without you

Then I

Can't get

Enough

The song is pollution to my ears

Why does she have to choose to wake up to this?

If she were any other woman! But she isn't.

She's my Lemon.

"Liz"

It's infuriating how adorably she snores.

And also infuriating - the fact that the word adorably just entered my thoughts.

"Liz!"

"Wha-Huh?-Ah"

"Was any of that english?"

"Haay"

"Good morning"

"Yes, good morning lovaah"

"Must you say that every morning?"

"Must you be my lovaah every night?"

"Must you invite me to your apartment every evening after dinner?"

"Must you ask me to dinner everyday after breakfast"

"This could go on forever"

"Ha! I won that round!"

"Round? Who said anything about rounds?"

"I did, it's like a ritual. Duh"

"A ritual? How so?"

"Every morning we enter a battle of wits, and as is clearly evident to everyone present, today was not your day my friend"

"First of all, since when do we have rituals? Second, everyone present, you realize the voices inside your head do not count as witnesses correct?"

"Oh wow, losing does not suit you at all Donaghy"

"I did not lose"

"Loser"

"I'm going to take a shower"

"Have fun loser"

"You know I just thought of another ritual we have?"

"What?"

"Showering together"

"That was one time Jack"

"No one says we can't make it two"

"I do, I say that"

"Come on Lemon,"

"Fine, i'll be there in like five minutes"

"Ok, i'll get the water running"

"You do that"

Just as I enter the bathroom I hear the song begin again,

Truth be told, I somewhat enjoy the music,

And I did understand what Liz was saying about the ritual,

But hearing her describe something as completely ours was revitalizing

Maybe there is such a thing as soulmates,

Even if there isn't - I sure have found my diamond in the rough.
