A/N: I've had this chapter written, for like... forever, but never really got around to psting it. Well, here it is. Yes, it's really short, but that's okay. Well, I guess it could be okay, but that's more of an opinion.
Nightmare's Ship
Chapter One
It was a nice and sunny day on the Grand Line. There were occasional breezes of wind that blew in their faces, but nothing more than that. But as the Mugiwara Kaizoku continued to sail on, the nice afternoon had suddenly turned to night. Sudden changes in weather were commonly seen on the Grand Line, but sudden transitions between day and night were unheard of.
"Uh...umm... Is it just me, or did the sky just suddenly turn black?" wondered Usopp, with the shaky sound of nervousness lingering in his voice.
"Hmm... I don't know, maybe- Of course I saw the sky go black," said Nami, trying to hide the sound of worry with the tone of aggravation.
"So, what do you think we should do, Navigator-san?" asked Robin, being able to keep her clam attitude.
She was unsure of what to do, but she knew she had to take action and make the decision. "Umm...maybe we should lay anchor until morning comes."
The let down the anchor for what was now "night" and dispersed into the different parts of the Going Merry.

"But what they don't know, is that night won't come," he said, stepping our from the dark.
"Yes. That is what they all do."
"So brother, who should we strike first?"
"Hmm... the one with the darkest memories..." he replied.
"That would be..." he said, trying to read them. "The red-haired woman... and the raven-haired one too. Oh, and the reindeer... Basically all of them have dark memories."
"Then... we'll see... We'll see, and know which one to strike first..."
The two mysterious characters disappeared back into the darkness and waited; waiting for when the time was right.
