When Sam's eighteen he heads for college, leaving so many things behind for an entirely perfect reason.
The brutal and all-consuming hunts are never worth the emotional and physical strain. Dad expecting too much, more than he can afford to give.
Except Dean. He'll always regret abandoning him.
Dean turns twenty-two.
He says a lousy goodbye to the only thing that ever mattered to him, wallows in self-misery for months, starts bar fights just for the hell of it, tells himself he won't call Sam but always ends up dialing that number.
Dean wonders why Sam stopped caring about him.
