I wrote this for a drabble prompt meme request on Tumblr. I thought about sticking it in with The Benefits of Dating a God, but I figured it'd be out of place so I decided to keep it on its own.
On a Summer Afternoon
"Hey, Hiyori! What's up?"
She was immediately greeted by Yato's voice as she opened her bedroom door and she nearly jumped out of her skin. She exhaled and took a step in, "Yato, what are you—" She looked up and noticed that his tracksuit was on the floor and he was sitting on her bed, grinning and shirtless, with his lower half covered by the blankets, "You—you… Is there a reason you're naked in my bed!?" She wanted to scream at the top of her lungs, but it came out more like high pitched whisper as her throat had completely gone dry.
"Oh, I'm not naked." He slid off of the bed and took a few steps towards her, his capypa boxers the only thing on his body.
Hiyori flushed and covered her eyes, though her gaze had already swept over his slim but muscular build, "It's not like that's any better! And you still didn't say why!"
"Well, it's really freakin' hot and I got bored while waiting for you to come home from school, so I took a nap. No biggie."
She lowered her hands enough that she could look at his face and give him a look of disbelief, "Um, yeah, it is."
He tilted his head and looked at her curiously before a smirk took over his face, "Would you have rather I'd been naked in your bed? Cuz I can make that happen too." He gripped the waistband of his boxers lightly, watching Hiyori for her reaction.
"Get out of my house, right now." She kept one hand over her face while blindly reaching out with the other to push him towards the window.
"But my clothes!" He tried to press back against her, but she kept shoving him and also gave a kick to the back of his legs. "Ow, ow, ow. Stop it!"
She ignored him and kept pressing, "I don't care. OUT!" Finally she heard the sound of his feet touching the roof and she slammed her windows shut, rolling her eyes at his giant pout as she pulled the curtains together as well.
