Saphira Is flying in the sky with Eragon, above an elf city looking for any sign of enemies, when they spot one. Its thorn, but strangely without his rider Murtagh. Eragon calls to Arya. "Arya, we have spotted Thorn". "Okay I will alert the rest of the elves" Said Arya. "Wait, He seems to be without Murtagh" Muttered Saphira. "That's a relief" said Arya releasing a breath she didn't know she was holding. Eragon rushed down to the city to help Arya. "Arya, after this battle I have something to tell you" Eragon Said. "Okay see you than" said Arya.
Eragon drew Brisingr, and climbed back on to Saphira, than launched in the air heading to Thorn. Eragon Sent mental shout towards Thorn asking "Why are you here Thorn, and without Murtagh". "I mean No harm Eragon Shadeslayer" Shouted Thorn. "I need to talk to you". "What do you want to talk about than Thorn" said Eragon.
After a long conversation about how Murtagh disappeared one night and never came back. Thorn Asked Eragon to help him find Murtagh. "Let me talk to Arya first" Eragon said. Saphira flew back to the city and said to Arya. "Thorn wants me to help him save Murtagh". " I guess we could help him" muttered Arya. "But first what did want to talk about". "Just head back to your room And see what I mean" said Eragon With enthusiasm.
