Prompt: Song Title Prompt: You Don't Know Her Like I Do - Brantley Gilbert
~/~/~/~/~/~/~/~
Paris was tired of watching the boy she loved moon over a girl that didn't even see him. She has waited for Tristan to see her, but he never seemed to because he only had eyes for Rory Gilmore even if he made out with other people. She knew that Tristan was only making out with other people to make Rory jealous. She stormed over to him and slammed his locker shut after his eyes once again went to Rory. "Get over it, DuGrey! Gilmore is never going to look at you so why can't you just accept it and move on like most people would? She's too damn stupid to see what is right in front of her face."
Tristan's eyes widened in shock and then narrowed in anger. He knew that Paris had a crush on him, but he never saw her as anything other than a friend. He saw Rory's eyes flare with hurt and that just made him even angrier as he turned his head to glare at Paris. "You don't know her like I do, Paris. I would advise you to watch what you say, but you already passed that line. If you would pay attention to anything other than what you want to see you would have known that Rory and I have been together for the last two weeks. Then again you haven't been at school for the last two weeks."
He took in a deep breath and let it out. "I'm only saying this once so listen closely, Paris. Stay the hell away from Rory and stay the hell away from me. You know that I have never seen you as anything other than a friend. I have the person that I want and I will NOT let you mess that up for me. Am I clear?"
Paris' eyes widened in shock. "No! You can't be with Rory, Tristan! You have to see that she isn't good enough for you."
Tristan's eyes flashed with rage. "Apparently you are the only one who thinks that, Paris, because my parents and my grandparents simply adore her. Now if you will excuse me I have to meet up with my beautiful girlfriend and take her home with me since we're having a family dinner tonight with my family and her mother."
Paris paled before she rallied and shouted "She's just using you for your money, Tristan!"
Tristan's eyes hardened. "She isn't you or your family, Gellar! You really are pathetic if you think I would believe that for even one second. Rory would never even think to use me for my money let alone actually doing it. I'm with her and I love her, Paris, so deal with it or never talk to me again."
He stalked away and pulled Rory into his arms and kissed her with everything that he felt. "Don't listen to her, my Mary. I know that you're not using me. I love you, Rory Gilmore."
Rory blushed even as she smiled. "Just as I love you, Tristan DuGrey." She let Tristan guide her out of the school and didn't look back once. She knew that she loved him and that he loved her so that was all that mattered. "I'm sorry about that, Tristan."
Tristan looked down at Rory in surprise and then shook his head. "I knew that she would take it badly, but I never thought she would go as far as she did. I love you, Rory, and I'm not going to let her ruin that or anything else. We know the truth as does our family so I don't care what she says or does. Let's go meet our family, baby."
Rory grinned and pulled Tristan's head down and kissed him before she got into his car. She would follow his lead and not let Paris get under her skin.
