Disclaimer: I do not own Katekyo Hitman Reborn but I do own this poem.
Sometimes I wonder if suicides aren't in fact sad guardians of the meaning of life.
-Vaclav Havel
There they once had stood, radiant as Earth's natural elements.
Now buried under my feet with melancholy none the wiser.
Their protection the love I have never forsook.
Now vanished in my lack of forethought.
Their dreams my hope.
Their lives my salvation.
Their love my sanity.
Forever lost by my detestable impotency.
How I crave to be with them once again.
My life is dictated by the whims of the many.
By the souls of the damned.
By those whom cared not for my sorrow.
I yearn for my untimely end to be among those who delivered me acceptance.
Am I too weak? Like those who have whispered since the days of yore?
I peer upon my flesh which I broke and tore.
The vitality draining from within like never before.
The crimson of passion, of life, of death…
It falls upon your graves.
The cold, unforgiving earth that hides you from my longing, eternally searching eyes.
My descent to death is tranquil as is the rain.
Farewell…
For I shall never again be reborn into this world without you…
My Guardians.
A.N.: I hope you liked this. I have the chapters for Peace and Mafia and Better Safe Than Sorry (slacked on this one…gomenasai…v.v) halfway written. If you have questions about the meaning to this let me know o.o;
