Let It Go

by A Random Person...

(A/N: I chose your name, sorry! You can change it if you want.)

"Hello? Karina, it's Officer Garrison. Your parents...there's been an accident. I'll come by later to give you something they had on the car seat."

I sat up in bed and sighed. What would I give to stop having this dream? No, its not a dream. It's a nightmare.

After I dressed in a shirt, a sweater, and some (ripped and old) jeans, had breakfast, and calmed down, I walked off to school. Well, I tried too. When I stepped onto the pavement, I was tackled.

"Gotcha!" a voice said.

Then my eyes was temporarily blinded by a flash. When I could finally see, I fell over in awe. No, literally. 13 random people stood in front of me.

"We finally caught you, Miss."

"Duuuuuude. You really need to lessen up on the gems. They are reflecting the light, and I am, like, blinded."

"Miss."

"And what's with the stupid capes? I mean, they're really ugly."

"Miss!"

"What?"

"Your name?"

"Yeah, like I'm going to tell you. I don't even know you! But that's okay. I made you names! * points to the guy who tackled me * You're Tackle-Buddy. * points to each of the thirteen people * Glimmer-Cape, Pretty-Lady, Grumpy-Guy, Random-Dude, Elfie, Red-Head, Middle-Guy..."

"MISS!"

"What?"

"Please. Just tell us your name."

"Fine. It's Karina."

"Thank you."

I look around me. I was in a weird place. An unnaturally blue sky dotted with stars was above me. Weird animals pranced, flew, and jumped around. "Whoa. Where am I?"

"The Sanctuary. It's for rare creatures, and it's your new home."

I felt like punching them in the face. "What do you mean! I AM NOT AN ANIMAL!" I spat.

The people looked like they've been slapped. "Calm down!" Glimmer-Cape snapped.

"Oh! You practically call me an animal, and expect me to move into a random place, and tell me to CALM DOWN! Want me to do that to you, Glitter-Cape?"

"Karina!"

"Don't 'Karina' me! How would you-"

"KARINA! We know you are a fox girl."

I gasped. " NOONE knows that!"

The people turned around and started talking to each other. "She's useless. We should leave her in the Neutral Territories. *input agreeing.*"

"Bonjour? *the look* Guten Tag? *still the look* Hola? *the look*"

"What are you saying?" said the confused councilors

"You don't know hello in French, German, and Spanish? Anyway, where's the Neutral Territories?" I snapped.

The people frowned. "She knew what we were saying? Her parents must have been a Polyglot and a fox person..."

"Excuse me, I'm right here!"

"She must go."
