The door flew open as they clambered in through the double doors of the police call box and slammed them shut by leaning their backs against them. Panting, the Doctor and Rose slunk down the door and collapsed on to the floor of the TARDIS, exhausted. After a moment of intense breath-catching, they caught each other's eye and burst into a fit of grins and giggles.
"Oh, the look on the Emperor's face!" gasped Rose, giggling with delight in memoir. This sent the Doctor into another fit of laughter, and he finally managed, "Oh Rassilon I don't think he's ever going to touch another frazzle fruit again!"
They laughed and laughed till tears wrung out their eyes, and when the laughter died out, they sat and grinned at each other.
Rose sighed contently. Peering at the Doctor, he returned her gaze after wiping his eyes gingerly on his tattered sleeve.
"Can I just say, I love it? Traveling wiff you, I jus' love it.." She finished with an infamous cheeky grin, her tongue teasing between the rows of teeth.
The Doctor's heart jumped in his throat. Rose, that smile, her smell, and just everything, he couldn't bear it. His face relaxed from the wide grin he hadn't known he was wearing into a sincere smile. His hearts overwhelmed with emotion for her, his Rose, and he felt compelled to tell her so.
Rose frowned, making her nose crinkle in the cutest way. "Doctor? Something wrong?"
He dazed wordlessly into her expression, soaking up her big, brown, concerned eyes, her perfectly chiseled cheek bones that complimented her smooth, inviting lips that curled so nicely over her teeth, which housed the elegant muscle that was her tongue.
The Doctor was suddenly very serious. He leaned in towards Rose and furrowed his eyebrows. "You know, this body, it was made for you."
Rose could only stare back, slightly cocking her head but never breaking away from his eyes.
"When I regenerated, I was thinking of you. How could I not, I had just killed myself for you, and I lo-" he stopped abruptly, closing his mouth and turning away.
Rose dared to speak, "You… you what, Doctor?" she whispered. She saw him swallow again, this time less painfully.
He looked back up, his eyes so filled with kindness and admiration that her heart hurt. "Because I loved you. Love you. I was made for you, Rose Tyler." he finished, seeming relieved.
Rose gaped at him in awe, her mouth slowly curling into a joyous, warm smile, and her tongue peeked between her teeth. "I love you so much, Doctor."
He smiled back weakly, swallowing again ever so nervously. She threw her head back delightfully and laughed as he awkwardly licked his dry lips. Grinning, she looked down at him deviously. "Perfection." she whispered before smashing her eager lips on his and inviting him into a deep kiss.
