She sat on the plane. This was the last she would ever see of Charleston, South Carolina. She let a small tear trickle down her face as the plane was taking off. She didn't want to leave, she was going to miss everything: the smells, the beach, the guys. Not to mention her friends who she had known forever. She looked to her dad who was sitting beside her, he was already asleep. She wiped her tears as her cell phone began to ring. She took it out of her pocket and looked at who was calling. "Hey Rayray, how are you?" She spoke into the phone trying to seem her normal calm self. "Oh Jansia why did you have to leave? Why couldn't your dad have gotten a job here? Why couldn't have gone and lived with your mom? Jansia please come back home. We really miss you!" Jansia could tell her friend was balling, and she couldn't hold it in. She began crying as hard as she could. "I'm sorry Rayray, i really am. I didn't want to leave. Really i didn't. But i had no choice, you know how my mom is. She abuses me every chance she gets. I couldn't deal with that. Even though i'll be in Japan, I'll call you everyday i promise. I'll even send you gifts." The phone went silent for a few minutes, Jansia knew Rachel wasn't taking this well at all. No one was. Rachel and her were like family and sepreating them broke their hearts. "J.D. Call me when you land and make sure when you get a computer you get an American one with Yahoo instant messenger. Inform me on anything that goes on and i'll do the same for you." With that Rachel hung up. Her dad had woken up and looked at her. "Sweety don't worry. You'll love Japan." Jansia just looked away. "I want to go home." Her dad placed his hand on her shoulder and looked down. "Jansia I really want you to enjoy this. I really want you to be happy. How can I help you say goodbye to America and say hello to Japan. Tell Jansia and i'll try my best to do it." Jansia looked up and wiped her eyes. She clutched her knees to her chest. "I want to go shopping. When we land i want to go shop." She smiled and so did her dad. "Then we'll go shopping. For whatever you want. I'll even by you your own dog. Since we couldn't have one in our old apartment."
Landing In Japan
The plane fianlly landed and the passangers got off. Jansia looked around for her luggage, getting distracted by the new faces. She finally spotted her bags and ran to grab them. On her way there a young girl tripped her sending her flying onto baggage rack. She landed on her bag and sat in shock while she continue going around. As people began to laugh, she looked down knowing that she looked like a little child. She scooted off and grabbed her bag. As she began to walk away she heard someone yell, "Sorry." She continued walking trying to catch up to her dad.
Arriving At Home
Her eyes widened as she saw the house they were going to live. It was a three story house, right beside a dojo. She got out of the car as her dad turned off the car they had just bought. She ran to the door and unlocked it. Her eyes widened even more as she gawked at everything around her. She ran up the stairs and to the second floor balcony. She had the perfect view of the dojo on one side and the school she was going to attend tomorrow on the other. Her father came in a leaned on the railing of the balcony. "Pretty nice isn't it. As long as i work for the current company we get this house. So lets hope i don't get fired any time soon." Jansia looked up at her dad. "That is nothing to joke about dad." He stood up and hugged Jansia. "You're right it isn't. I'm sorry. Well you might want to get some sleep for tomorrow, your first day of new school. Your uniform is on the bed. So don't be up to late."
