In honor of Storm337's 1st anniversary on FanFiction, I wrote this up as a tiny present.

Enjoy.

Shade put down the comb and looked at himself in the mirror. His quills, usually sticking out at various angles, had been smoothly combed down so that they looked slick and gelled. The demonhog had scarcely laid eyes on the shape of his quills before quickly messing them up again.

"Still not good enough." he muttered.

He tried several more quill styles until he settled on his old look. Gazing deep into the reflection of his green eyes, he briefly wondered if Storm would approve of their plans tonight. She was prone to changing moods and ideas on the dime after all.

"I'm sure it'll be fine." he thought. Satisfied with his appearance, he exited the bathroom and entered his small, yet comfortable room. Opening his closet, he pulled out his scarcely used leather jacket and slipped it on. The demonhog that greeted him was one of cool, confident masculinity. He had to admit, the jacket worked wonders on guys.

Yet, there was something still missing. Something he knew was fundamental, yet he couldn't put his finger on what it was. He quickly looked around, and then noted the pair of black shades on the desk. Slipping them on, he noted the distinguishing features that they gave him.

Now staring back at him was the very image of awesome. Slick, cool and confident.

Shade grinned, grabbed his keys and exited the apartment.

Tonight was going to be great.

O.o THE SHORTNESS BURNS!
