Prompt: Starter Sentence - "He could taste blood in his mouth."
He could taste blood in his mouth. The metallic flavor still sickened him, but the quaking of his stomach was ignored in favor of the adrenaline pumping through the same veins that carried the fluid in his mouth. Each challenger was swiftly cut down, splattering more blood onto the grim figure, causing him to look more and more like a walking corpse. The only thing on his mind was the Silmaril. He had to get it. The greed was the only thing he could think of and that was what drove him to this senseless slaughter. But in the end, the damnation wouldn't be worth anything once again; the Sindar escaped with the Silmaril for the second time.
I'm not sure who this is - one of the fëanorians probably and since we're talking about the Kinslaying at Sirion, than it would have to be Maedhros, Maglor, or Amrod (Amras too maybe. Depends which version you're following). I wrote it with Maedhros in mind mainly, because I think that the time in Angband would have made him a little crazy…yeah. Sorry if the craziness isn't obvious in there. It's supposed to be and it is to me, but I wrote it and I know exactly what was in my head that didn't make it down onto paper…computer screen….yeah, I'll shut up now.
