I'm writing a poem and it won't be too good-
I don't do the rhyme scheme how you say I should.
Pronouncing is wrong, my spelling is bad,
But I promise I gave this one all that I had.
I thought I should tell you in this kinda way
How ecstatic I am to wake up every day
To you lying beside me all peaceful and sweet,
Your hair rumpled up in the wrinkly sheet.
To have you to hold every moment in time,
It's worth far, far more than some cheesy-ass rhyme.
I love you, I promise, I gave you the ring,
To show you that you are my EVERYTHING.
I can't live without you, I hope that you know,
And I'm grateful each day that you choose not to go
And instead stay with me, some deranged burger-twit
With supersized dreams and an ego to fit.
I love you, my Arthur, my Angel, my Queen,
Something I promise that I'll always mean.
I love you, I love you, I love you some more.
Please pick up some donuts while you're at the store.
