So… I went to a REALLY boring meeting on Monday, and figured, hey, instead of paying attention, let's start writing some short fics before I start school on Saturday. Because why not? Of course, I only managed to get two small stories, and after said meeting, I was too tired to actually type, and then Tuesday was busy, I was WALKING all over Wednesday, and now… well, I'll admit I was too lazy to type until later in the day. It had nothing to do with marathoning Achievement Hunter and Yuri on Ice at all. (Maybe a little)

Anyway, none of that is important! I own absolutely nothing, but I do hope you guys enjoy!

Regret

Honestly, Nora knew better. She really did. It was just that Ren was so clueless, like she could wave a sign saying 'Notice Me!' or write 'Property of Nora Valkyrie' on him and he wouldn't even notice. Really, it was as if Ren had a barrier that rejected all romantic overtures before they reached him.

So, was it any wonder that she had reached a breaking point? Was it any surprise that she had just snapped?

Well, it had certainly been a surprise to Ren, if the look on his face had been any indication. Plus, he hadn't reacted, not to stop her from running off, to pull away, to do anything… and when Ren didn't react, something -or a lot of things- was very very wrong.

Burying her face in her hands, Nora groaned loudly, not worried that anyone would hear her. No one would be looking for her in Glynda's closet after all, and she would continue to hide in there until everyone just miraculously forgot the events from today.

But in the meantime, something good could come out of this. After all, Pyrrha wouldn't be able to say she wasn't able to go up and kiss Jaune… not after Nora had literally just walked up to Ren and kissed him in front of the whole school.

And even if Nora managed to joke her way out of that, and salvage their friendship from the devastating blow she'd just dropped on it, it would still keep other girls away from Ren… which Nora would definitely count as a victory.

Nora leaned back into the corner of the closet with a sigh, tugging at her hair. Yes, she certainly knew better, even if she didn't always act that way… and was it such a bad thing that she couldn't bring herself to regret it?

As she wouldn't take it back -after all, it wasn't as if she didn't mean it- Nora grinned to herself before sneaking out of Glynda's closet, shaking her head at her own actions. It might be time for some major damage control, but she'd get past it… and maybe Ren would get the point.

Or he wouldn't. Either way, Nora was still going to move forward; even if she did something stupid and had to hide it, Nora wasn't going to let herself regret any of it.

After all, that would take all the fun out of it!

Yeah… just a short little snippet… because I needed encouragement in that meeting. And I need more references to RWBY Chibi Nora (because omg RWBY Chibi was genius) and I like to delve into Nora's brain. It's fun. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed, thanks so much for reading, and feel free to leave a review if there was something you liked (or didn't, I take constructive criticism) and I'll see you in the next story!
