Another day in Lazytown, another day at school, and another lunch break.
Stingy sighed happily as took his limited-edition Super Piggy metal lunchbox out of his messenger bag. Finally, it was time to eat. Today's lessons had been particularly taxing, he felt he needed a break. Opening it carefully, he pulled out a Hillshire⢠Snacking Wine-Infused Salame lunchable-like thing. He had one every Tuesday and Thursday, salami was his favorite, even if the package misspelled it.
"Hiya Stingy! Whatcha got today?" Ziggy turned around to see his friend, already munching on some chips.
The brunette boy sighed. "The same thing I have every Tuesday, Ziggy. Honestly." He sniffed, carefully opening his snack.
"You mean your fancy Lunchable?"
Stingy rolled his eyes. They went through this every single time.
"No. It's much better than that...trash you eat!"
Stephanie gasped, scandalized.
"Stingy! That's not nice!" She chastised. Miss Busybody was not paying attention in the front of the class as usual, scrolling on her phone.
"Well it's true!" Stingy huffed.
"Nuh uh!" Ziggy protested, hurt. He turned around and pulled out a Ham and Cheese Cracker Lunchable©. "Here, let's trade! Then you'll see!"
The other boy paused to think about it. At first he was going to refuse, but he realized everyone was staring at him with hard looks.
"Fine!" He snapped, snatching the obviously inferior snack from the blonde boy's hands.
He looked over the yellow-orange packaging. Well, at least it matched his color scheme.
"Wha-wait a minute! Is this cheese orANGE?"
Ziggy tilted his head to the side, confused.
"Of course it's orange. It's chebber."
Pixel spoke up. "It's cheddar, Ziggy."
"Oh."
Stingy rolled his eyes yet again and opened the snack suspiciously while Ziggy opened his. Just as the blonde boy took a bite of the salami, Trixie snatched the wrapper away.
"Wait-a-minute! This says wine infused? What's wine?"
Pixel snatched it from the original snatcher.
"I know! It's alcohol. You know, grown up drinks."
Ziggy froze, a round slice of salami hanging out of his mouth. Very suddenly he became dizzy.
"Wooahh...my grandma drinks this stuff sometimes and I snuck a sip once." Ziggy mumbled, staring very intently at his fingers. "I accidentally drank some, I thought it was grape juice." He hiccuped, turning back around to Stingy.
"Hey Stingeeeeeee!"
Stingy had been ignoring the whole ordeal, picking at the orange cheese.
"Yes, Ziggy?"
Ziggy flopped down and banged his head on Stingy's desk, but continued to talk, unfazed.
"Do you see that unicorn on your head?"
He screeched, hands flying up to his head. "There is no such think on my precious head!"
Trixie and Pixel exchanged looks.
"Ziggy. There was like two drops of wine in there. Stop pretending!" Trixie narrowed her eyes at him.
"Pshh I'm nooooot!" Ziggy slurred, hands sticky reaching up to grab Stingy's face.
"Stingeeeeeee!"
"Oh what now?"
"I'm on a mountain!"
"For heavens sake! Ms. Busybody! I need assistance!"
Bessie did not even bother to look up. "It's fine Joshua just eat your snack." She mumbled.
Stephanie was now throughly worried. "Should we call Sportacus?"
"Yeah! Call Sportacus! Ziggy got drunk off of two drops he's such a lightweight! I bet Sportacus could eat more salami than that!" Trixie grinned, grabbing the meat off of Ziggy's desk.
"C'mon!" The kids raced out after her to find the sports elf.
Ziggy instantly jumped up to follow after them.
"Oh? Are you done pretending to be intoxicated now?" Stingy asked him.
"Lalalalala I can't hear you!"
Back in the classroom Ms. Busybody finally looked up as the bell rang, only to see an empty classroom.
"Oh! Where's everybody gone?"
