"Umm-Miss? Artemis? "hearing her name, Artemis turns around. Looking around she finds the person calling her name. He seems to be a Gryffindor, but as he gets closer, she realises that the boy is none other than Seamus Finnigan, Pyrotechnical extraordinaire. As her fellow fourth year hufflepuffs start tittering, she rushes towards Seamus, curious as to what he would want from her. They meet at the entrance to the great hall, and are surprised to be in each other's company. "Miss Artemis Stein, I just-wanted-like can- umm", sputtered Seamus. "Slow down Seamus. What's wrong?" said Artemis, slowly and calmly. "You know my name?" replied Seamus. For a moment Artemis was dumbstruck by the lush Irish accent. How much she liked that voice! "Of course I know your name, Seamus!" said Artemis indignantly. "Oh. So umm- I was wondering- the weather is quite nice today isn't it?" said Seamus, blushing slightly. Artemis was taken aback by this sudden weird conversation, but she played along all the same, "Yes, the weather's quite-cold, since it's snowing." Suddenly Seamus takes hold of Artemis's hand, pulling her towards the black lake. As they near the willow tree, Seamus slows down. Then still holding Artemis's hand he turns to look at her and notices her blushing. Striking up a smile he says slowly, "I think I would like to know you better. Will you let me take you to the Yule ball?"Shocked beyond words, Artemis just manages to nod her head. Seeing her positive gesture, Seamus lets go of Artemis's hand and starts whooping. Overcome by shyness, Artemis rushes towards the castle, leaving Seamus behind, celebrating. As she nears the door, she hears a bang and turns around to find that Seamus had caused an explosion while holding his wand while he celebrated. With a smile on her lips, she slips into the castle.
