10 things you never knew about James Sirius Potter
1. When he was six he kept fretting over how he would get sorted into Slytherin, much to his own horror. He desperately begged his pillow to help him get sorted into Gryffindor, so that he could honor his father.
2. He played Guitar, though he never told anyone about it, keeping his talent to himself. When he left for Hogwarts he left his guitar behind, and soon found a room which possessed a grand piano. He spent most of his first year in that one room playing different melodies.
3. He felt pressured when he learnt who he was named after, and so tried to live up to his grandfather's and god-grandfather's reputation, living in detention and receiving several howlers every week.
4. When his father gave him the marauders map in his second year, James started planning pranks in the room of requirement, which he soon moved into as to get away from the pressure of being the eldest son of the savior of the wizarding world.
5. When he was in his third year, he set out to become an animagus like his grandfather. When he was studying in the library one day, he met Celeste Holmes, whom he fell for instantly when he walked into her by accident, looking at books on Animagi.
6. When Celeste and he got together the following year, he showed her the room of requirement and took her on several midnight walks. When second year Albus commented on how he was 'Whipped' the two fourth years laughed at how Al probably didn't even know the proper meaning.
7. In their fifth year, when he and Celeste broke up, he fell into a depression that worried his whole family. Shortly afterwards he became the womanizer of the school, and the major rule breaking Quiditch Captain.
8. He always liked his uncle George more than his others uncles because they shared the same interests, and his uncle let James occasionally work in his Uncle George's shop. His uncle slowly freed James from his depression shortly after he left Hogwarts, with straight E's.
9. He never wanted to be an Auror. Though everyone was convinced that he wanted to be an Auror, he wanted to be something that required a lot of patience and secrecy. He became an Unspeakable when he was twenty.
10. When he was twenty three, he had a child with his wife, Jenny, a little boy whom he named Elliot, much to his wife's delight, after his father-in-law. He had never been so proud in his life.
