Oh, this is absolutely wonderful. In my last two angst one-shots the characters were Tina and Kurt. And the cause of this against was Rachel. Kind of. Basically, I was doing Rachel bashing. Sort of. But this isn't Rachel bashing. Even though I added some of her pigheadedness and ignorance into this one-shot. Well it's more like a drabble. Also, since I've been writing one-shots and can't thank reviews; thank you for all the reviews in my other stories! Anyway, enjoy. And review, please.
Just edited this, because my mistake with the planets bothered me.. thank you to the reviewer that pointed it out! It was fitting though.. god of war..

declaimer: I don't own Glee.
Rachel Berry is a star.
She puts gold stars after her name on everything, so of course she is a star.
Stars are beautiful. Not only do they twinkle and glow in the night sky; they capture your attention. Stars capture and take the attention on stage, and they hold onto it.
Rachel Berry knows she is a star; but doesn't feel like a star.
Stars aren't alone. They have millions of others nearby, all twinkling and glowing. They are independent. They don't orbit anything or anyone.
Rachel Berry feels like a star. She feels like a sun.
The sun is a star too. But it's bigger and brighter, and the other planets orbit it. It's the center of the solar system. The Earth needs the sun to have life on our planet.
Rachel Berry wishes she was a star. A normal star.
The sun is alone. The other planets orbit the sun; they follow it. But not right by it's side. The sun is alone. Very alone. It's all by it's self; in the huge, cruel galaxy.
Rachel Berry feels alone. Very alone.
She's a sun, all by herself. She seems independent; being all by herself. But she needs people orbiting her; people following her.
People liking her. People agreeing with her. People defending her. People being her friend.
Rachel Berry had friends. Rachel Berry has friends.
Maybe.
Finn was the closest planet in orbit around her. Mercury. The Roman god of speed.
She wishes he was Venus. The goddess of love. Maybe then he wouldn't be in the army. If she wasn't so clingy.
She wishes that she wasn't a sun. Or a star. She wishes that she still had Finn.
Kurt was the next planet. Venus. The goddess of love. Problem was Kurt is a guy. And his love is Blaine. Not Rachel.
He is probably in Blaine's orbit.
No, Blaine isn't a star. He's a normal person. Kurt isn't following Blaine. Kurt and Blaine are side by side. Together.
Rachel Berry wishes she was normal.
Rachel Berry wishes she was a star.
But she isn't.
Rachel Berry is a sun.
BEAUTIFUL ANGST. It's absolutely wonderful! :D
Not my best story (drabble, whatever) but I like it.
It's different.
